Capital Automation respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and your rights under New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020.

Information we collect

• When you contact us (audit form, chat assistant, email): your name, business name, email or phone, and anything you choose to tell us. Our chat assistant, "Ada," processes your messages to answer you and capture your enquiry.
• Automatically: minimal technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) to keep the site secure and working.
• As a service provider: when we build automations for a business client, we may process information about that business's own customers on their behalf — see "Acting for our clients."

Why we use it

To respond to enquiries, provide quotes, deliver and support our services, keep the site secure, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Who helps us process it

We use reputable providers to run our services. Your information may be processed by:

Some providers are based overseas, so your information may be stored or processed outside New Zealand. We take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protections apply.

Acting for our clients

When we build and run automations for a business, that business is responsible for its customers' personal information; we act on its instructions. If you interacted with an automation we built for another business, please contact that business — or contact us and we'll help route your request.

Storage & retention

We store information securely and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you. Email privacy@capitalautomation.nz and we'll respond within 20 working days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Cookies

The site uses minimal local storage to keep it functioning (e.g. remembering your chat session). We don't use third-party advertising cookies.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be highlighted on the site.
